Due to a group rescheduling their trip so they can bring even more friends, we now have some room that has become available mid-June. I know that we have been turning folks away, saying that all of June was already fully booked, but you might be in luck. Give us a call or email us ASAP if you think you might want to come up for the prime walleye week of June 13-20, or June 20-27.
While June is generally regarded as having the best walleye fishing, the pattern over the past couple of years has been that some of the best catches have been in early July. The mayfly hatch that usually happens around July 1 hasn’t been a factor in the fishing lately. I am not sure if this is due to the water temperature or a natural cycle, but the walleye bite has stayed strong well into the summer. Plus, a summer fishing trip has the advantage of an open Bass season, aggressive North Pike action, no black flies, warmer weather and of course, you can swim. Also, our some family rates kick in, which make a family trip more affordable.
Contact us soon if you would like to arrange a trip to Two Moon Outpost Lodge. There is still cabin availability most weeks in July and August.
